Akiva Gersh, the "Vegan Rabbi", has been teaching youth and adults about the strong connection between Judaism, environmental ethics and animal welfare for over two decades.


In this online course for youth, he will share teachings from the Tanach, the Talmud, Jewish law, Jewish ethics and Jewish philosophy that clearly show how Judaism has always supported living in a harmonious way with the natural world and how we can use ancient Jewish wisdom to find solutions to many of our modern environmental problems.

Classes will take place via Zoom on the following five Sundays: July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 1PM EST.

All classes are one hour long.
